Hi, I'm James Andrewartha (or TRS-80), I'm 21 and I go to The University of Western Australia, where I'm in the second year of an IT Engineering course, and am a member of the University Computer Club. As you have probably realised, this is just a crappy little personal page, of design that was current circa 1997. I make no apologies for that, except that I have very little art/design skill, and I simply can't be bothered to spend ages working on a cool layout. But that's just because I'm lazy. Anyway, this page is just a way for put up stuff that interests me. Some sections may never materialise, including Bolo, because it has stopped being developed.

Moving on, the chemistry page is a place for information about my involvement in chemistry olympiads, including the WA, Australian and international chem olympiads. The programming page mainly focuses on my calculator programming, because I do so much in school (what else is there to to during all the boring subjects?) but there's also a little C there. The hardware page is where I post my occasional hardware articles. Anyway, now you've read about it all, you can go and enjoy(?) it.

News

 Updates (or lack thereof)  17/10/2002 - TRS-80
In case you can't guess, I'm not actively updating this page anymore, and am unlikely to in the future. So blah. The calculator programs are still good, and I'll update them if any bugs are found, but that's about it.
 IChO 31 Photos  6/11/99 - TRS-80
I've scanned in my photos from the 31st International Chemistry Olympiad, and have put them up with a little commentary under my chemistry page.

 New Hardware Section  17/10/99 - TRS-80
I've added a hardware section, because as every man and his dog has a hardware site these days, I figured I might as well have one too. My first commentary is on the current state of 3D graphics cards.

 New Programs  11/10/99 - TRS-80
I've written and uploaded a game of life program, as well as typing in All Data Cleared for the EL-9300. Both are available on the programming page. As well, I've discovered that there's an mistake in the Nibbles program. For more detail, and how to fix it, see the calculator info page.

 New News Section  11/8/99 - TRS-80
I've decided to change the layout a bit, and put in a news section. Stuff that happened before I decided this: I came back from the 31st International Chemistry Olympiad in Thailand, where I got a silver medal.

This page is constantly under construction, so don't worry if some of the linx don't work. If you've been here before, you could also reload this page to get the latest version.
